WELCOME OUR RETURNING INSTRUCTOR: Natalie Horning Edgar
We’re pleased to welcome Natalie Horning Edgar
back to active faculty status. Now ministering as Pastoral
Associate at St. Monica, Coos Bay, she looks forward to once
again serving our southern Oregon students as instructor for MCP
101: Church, Its Nature and Mission.
Natalie
received her undergraduate degree at Drake University and her
Master of Theological Studies from the University of Dallas in
1997. Over the years, she has taught courses for our MCP, as
well as for the Catechist Formation program. For several years
she was a southern Oregon instructor for Northwest Family
Services in chastity education. She has also conducted retreats
for parishes, Catholic school faculty and most recently for the
wives of our permanent deacons. She has been a long-time
supporter of vocations and has presented at the Quo Vadis high
school vocations camp over many summers. Her current parish
responsibilities include a variety of areas and religious
education responsibilities from preschool through RCIA, which
will serve as a practical foundation for helping students
appreciate and apply the theological aspects of the nature and
mission of the Church.
