ADVANCED CERTIFICATION SELF-STUDY

 The Ministry Formation Office is responsible for providing the retreat and courses which fulfill Standard 1 (Spiritual) and Standard 3 (Theology) leading to the Basic Certificate.  In order to provide learning experiences for Standard 2 (Ministry Identity), Standard 4 (Praxis), and Standard 5 (Professional), we collaborate with other Archdiocesan offices.  The various specialties and offices are:

The Directors are engaged in a self-study to develop components based on the National Standards.  During 2005-06, we will offer a weekend retreat, Called to Serve, which will address competencies listed for Ministry Identity and Praxis.  The Practicum requirement is being modified to address Praxis competencies.  During 2006-07, we will standardize the Professional requirements.
